Communication Breakdown
Shall type what I wrote on a paper ... ...I have never liked speed reading neither do I trust in using them. We have always been taught to speed read with the knowledge that you will only understand an average of about 60% or even lesser of the actual content because you are just picking up the key words and forming the sentence with your own assumptions which are normally highly accurate? Writers spent such hard time writing and reader just finished the entire thing without getting the 100% meaning and understanding.I do agree that speed reading will save more time and gain more knowledge in the shortest time possible. However, I find that once you are used to speed reading, you will never fail to speed read anything. This I find it quite bad in some cases especially when trying to communicate with another person. FUll understanding of message passed was not passed on and with the slight or major changes, consequences will turn out bad sooner or later. Many things could have been missed out!Of course, there are exceptions too. Those talented people who could speed read with an understanding of up to 90%~ this if of course good for them and i've got no disagreement towards them for speed reading. The point I am trying to bring across here is that if you cannot speed read with 90% accuracy... DONT! You may get away with many things but you will also miss out alot of things. Major problems are solved but not the minor problems which usually accumulates to become big problems thus the cycle continues... ...This is why I believe human lack the trust in one another. The understanding is not even totally there how do you do things the way it should have been? And with one misunderstand, it brings about more misunderstandings which eventually comes to the topic of selfishness. People got tired of trusting anyone because people always misunderstood their actual intentions and being selfish. There is absolutely no in trust in anyone any more... Real viscious cycle which nobody is willing to sacrifice and improve on it for a better selfless human world where we will truly become oneunitedpeople.Life is beautiful if everyone were to be selfless to everyone.if being selfless to your best friend or partner has already been such beautiful moments in life,imagine everyone being absolutely selfless to everyone around them.Just imagine how great that would be...Just imagine...
