TuesdayDidn't really want to wake up today but had no choice and in the end was actually quite early for lesson. Less than half the class has arrived and all was like super late. ZK got his bottle (which he left it at the lecture hall yesterday) back as a birthday pressie and to think there is 3 layers.. hahaz...which was why door aren't held for u ~! Was trying to hide bottle from ZK... sry if it pisses u off~
anyway went SIM for lunch because we wanted to go and have a look at our new exam location. However, all four of us didn't eat at all=.= zk was full, hl and xjj dno y follow us nv eat, me cos don wan spend $$ and dno wad to eat oso... after which slack til MAEC revision lecture. Was pretty boring... maybe because already know almost everything he said. Still need more practice if not wont pass :Scrash into their FFA tutorial because they need my laptop. So didn't manage to do my BCA which i intended to do in the 1st place ... instead just listen to the tutorial and treat it as revision again :) still aren't getting everything for FFA...bahz~~ spotted by the teacher after about 1hr? that i am not her student. hahaz.. ask me so many questions lars=.=
Finally lesson ended, had zk to open his pressie. stubbornly he untie the 6ribbons slowly...and started to open the layers of pressie... 1st layer nth much.. .den the sweet layer...socks layer...protecting box layer...box layer...around there i guess :) told ya you won't be able to guess what is your present~! wahahahaha... guess the whole day we are just makin him confuse of what we are giving and going to do...
he went for his meeting while the remaining of us rest at convention basement. Played water, sing song, tok crap... going to meet him at bus-stop and purposely takin the atrium way because i know we will meet him halfway, plan was carried out. quite successfully water sprayed on him by surprised :D So kana, glitter and water.. hahaz...went cineleisure to have dinner at pastamania den n.y.d.c. for some mudpie... all tasted great! 2nd plan failed and wasn't carried out at all... guess we are all getting too tired..had some candid pictures whoring.....

Plan C carried out and was successful~! Gonna train in the morning... have a target to hit now~!

Went for BSTATs tutorial in the morning... after which study all the way at atrium till xjj and huiling arrives... their indeed look weird when i first saw it but soon got kinda used to it. Went to find zk but to only find him surrounded by girls. Ok..mayb not.. just conducting consultation time..but really, all that consult him are only females wor... he must be having hard time choosing :P Since we found him being too busy, we decided to go somewhere else that is air-conditioned. Found non but to only end up at convention centre on the floor. Not long zk found us and oh well.. nothing much. Printed the FFA notes and we went for revision lecture. Truely noisy, sleepy, full of writing lecture. contradictin but yar~ slpy because mayb we already know those that she is going through. Finally ended and found something in the lecture room. Brought it home :D return book for huiling since i passing by westmall and there i saw jonn and terry. Didn't manage to say hi to them because was too crowded and quite far also so i walked home. Had dinner. Played a little. AND~! study again. Me going to try to spend as little time on leisure as possible for this week. So far still ok for the pass two days.Nowadays so feeling-less... I no longer talk that much. Always seeking to be alone most of the time. No mood for even playing games which i used to be actually quite addictive. Given wide variety games i am having none seems appealing to me anymore. Somehow studyin seems appealing to me nowadays. I am enjoying studying. Reading things out of context, unrelated to my course and all. Feel so not me...

I just find that recently people have been havig insufficient sleep and complaining of havin short term memory. Even mild sleepiness can hurt your performance -- from taking school exams to playing sports or video games. Lack of sleep can make you look tired and feel depressed, irritable, and angry.
- Keep consistency in mind: Establish a regular bedtime and waketime schedule, and maintain it during weekends and school (or work) vacations. Don't stray from your schedule frequently, and never do so for two or more consecutive nights. If you must go off schedule, avoid delaying your bedtime by more than one hour, awaken the next day within two hours of your regular schedule, and, if you are sleepy during the day, take an early afternoon nap.
- Learn how much sleep you need to function at your best. You should awaken refreshed, not tired. Most adolescents need between 8.5 and 9.5 hours of sleep each night.
Know when you need to get up in the morning, then calculate when you need to go to sleep to get at least 8.5 hours of sleep a night. - Get into bright light as soon as possible in the morning, but avoid it in the evening. Don't fall asleep with the television on -- flickering light and stimulating content can inhibit restful sleep. If you work during the week, try to avoid working night hours. If you work until 9:30 pm, for example, you will still need to plan time to unwind before going to sleep.
- Say no to all-nighters. Staying up late can cause chaos to your sleep patterns and your ability to be alert the next day ... and beyond. Remember, the best thing you can do to prepare for a test is to get plenty of sleep. All nighters or late-night study sessions might seem to give you more time to cram for your exam, but they are also likely to drain your brainpower.

Sleep
Sleep is defined as a state of unconsciousness from which a person can be aroused. In this state, the brain is relatively more responsive to internal stimuli than external stimuli. Sleep should be distinguished from coma. Coma is an unconscious state from which a person cannot be aroused. Sleep is essential for the normal, healthy functioning of the human body. It is a complicated physiological phenomenon that scientists do not fully understand.
Historically, sleep was thought to be a passive state. However, sleep is now known to be a dynamic process, and our brains are active during sleep. Sleep affects our physical and
mental health, and is essential for the normal functioning of all the systems of our body, including the immune system. The effect of sleep on the immune system affects one’s ability to fight disease and endure sickness.
States of brain activity during sleep and wakefulness result from different activating and inhibiting forces that are generated within the brain. Neurotransmitters (chemicals involved in nerve signaling) control whether one is asleep or awake by acting on nerve cells (neurons) in different parts of the brain. Neurons located in the brainstem actively cause sleep by inhibiting other parts of the brain that keep a person awake.
Importance of Sleep
Animal studies have shown that sleep is necessary for survival. The normal life span of rats is 2-3 years. However, rats deprived of sleep live for only about 3 weeks. They also develop abnormally low body temperatures and sores on their tails and paws. The sores probably develop because of impairment of the rats’ immune systems.
In humans, it has been demonstrated that the metabolic activity of the brain decreases significantly after 24 hours of sustained wakefulness. Sleep deprivation results in a decrease in body temperature, a decrease in immune system function as measured by white blood cell count (the soldiers of the body), and a decrease in the release of growth hormone. Sleep deprivation can also cause increased heart rate variability.
For our nervous systems to work properly, sleep is needed. Sleep deprivation makes a person drowsy and unable to concentrate the next day. It also leads to impairment of memory and physical performance and reduced ability to carry out mathematical calculations. If sleep deprivation continues, hallucinations and mood swings may develop.
Release of growth hormone in children and young adults takes place during deep sleep. Most cells of the body show increased production and reduced breakdown of proteins during deep sleep. Sleep helps humans maintain optimal emotional and social functioning while we are awake by giving rest during sleep to the parts of the brain that control emotions and social interactions.
Stages of Sleep
As mentioned earlier, sleep is a dynamic process. There are 2 distinct states that alternate in cycles and reflect differing levels of neuronal activity. Each state is characterized by a different type of brain wave (electrical activity that is recorded with the help of electrodes placed on the skull) activity. Sleep consists of non–rapid eye movement (NREM) and rapid eye movement (REM) sleep. NREM is further subdivided into the following 4 stages:
- Stage I (light sleep)
- Stage II
- Stage III & IV (deep sleep)
The stages of NREM sleep and REM sleep cycle over and over again during a night's sleep. Stages I, II, III, and IV are followed by REM sleep. A complete sleep cycle, from the beginning of stage I to the end of REM sleep, usually takes about one and a half hours.
For the purpose of analysis, a night’s sleep is divided into 3 equal time periods: sleep in the first third of the night, which comprises the highest percentage of NREM; sleep in the middle third of the night; and sleep in the last third of the night, the majority of which is REM. Awakening after a full night’s sleep is usually from REM sleep.
NREM Sleep
Stage I is a stage of light sleep and is considered a transition between wakefulness and sleep. During this stage, the muscles begin to relax. It occurs upon falling asleep and during brief arousal periods within sleep, and usually accounts for 5-10% of total sleep time. An individual can be easily awakened during this stage.
Stage II occurs throughout the sleep period and represents 40-50% of the total sleep time. During stage II, brain waves slow down with occasional bursts of rapid waves. Eye movement stops during this stage.
In stage III, extremely slow brain waves called delta waves begin to appear. They are interspersed with smaller, faster waves. In stage IV, delta waves are the primary waves recorded from the brain. These 2 stages are distinguished from each other only by the percentage of delta activity. Together they represent up to 20% of total sleep time. Stages III and IV are called deep sleep, during which all eye and muscle movement ceases. It is difficult to wake up someone during these 2 stages. If someone is awakened during deep sleep, he does not adjust immediately and often feels groggy and disoriented for several minutes after waking up. Some children experience bedwetting, night terrors, or sleepwalking during deep sleep.
REM Sleep
REM sleep represents 20-25% of the total sleep time. REM sleep follows NREM sleep and occurs 4-5 times during a normal 8- to 9-hour sleep period. The first REM period of the night may be less than 10 minutes in duration, while the last may exceed 60 minutes. In a normal night’s sleep, bouts of REM occur every 90 minutes.
When the person is extremely sleepy, the duration of each bout of REM sleep is very short or it may even be absent. REM sleep is usually associated with dreaming. During REM sleep, the eyeballs move rapidly, the heart rate and breathing become rapid and irregular, and the blood pressure rises. The muscles of the body are virtually paralyzed. The brain is highly active during REM sleep, and the overall brain metabolism may be increased by as much as 20%. The electrical activity recorded in the brain during REM sleep is similar to that which is recorded during wakefulness.
Sleep at Different Stages of Life
Infancy
Infants have an overall greater total sleep time than any other age group. Their sleep time can be divided into multiple periods. In newborns, the total sleep duration in a day can be 14-16 hours. Over the first several months of life, sleep time decreases; by age 5-6 months, sleep consolidates into an overnight period with at least 1 nap during the day.
REM sleep in infants represents a larger percentage of the total sleep at the expense of stages III and IV. Until age 3-4 months, newborns transition from wakefulness into REM sleep. Thereafter, wakefulness begins to transition directly into NREM sleep.
Adulthood
In adults, sleep of 8-8.4 hours is considered fully restorative. In some cultures, total sleep is often divided into an overnight sleep period of 6-7 hours and a nap of 1-2 hours.
Some people may need as little as 5 hours or as much as 10 hours of sleep every day. The period of time a person sleeps depends also on the fact whether he or she has been deprived of sleep in previous days. Sleeping too little creates a "sleep debt." This debt needs to be adjusted by sleeping for longer periods over the next few days. People who sleep less have an impairment of judgment and reaction time.
Old agePeople tend to sleep more lightly and for shorter periods as they get older. In elderly persons, the time spent in stages III and IV decreases by 10-15%, and the time in stage II increases by 5% compared to young adults, representing an overall decrease in total sleep duration.
Time taken to fall asleep and the number and duration of overnight arousal periods increase. Thus, to have a fully restorative sleep, the total time in bed must increase. If the elderly person does not increase the total time in bed, complaints of insomnia and chronic sleepiness may occur.
Sleep fragmentation results from the increase in overnight arousals and may be exacerbated by the increasing number of medical conditions related to old age, including
sleep apnea (interrupted breathing during sleep), musculoskeletal disorders, and cardiopulmonary disease.
Circadian Rhythms That Influence Sleep
Biological variations that occur in the course of 24 hours are called circadian rhythms. Circadian rhythms are controlled by the body’s biological clock. Many bodily functions follow the biologic clock, but sleep and wakefulness comprise the most important circadian rhythm. Circadian sleep rhythm is one of the several body rhythms modulated by the hypothalamus (a part of the brain).
Light directly affects the circadian sleep rhythm. Light is called a zeitgeber, a German word meaning time-giver, because it sets the biological clock. A practical purpose has been proposed for the circadian rhythm, using the analogy of the brain being somewhat like a battery charging during sleep and discharging during wakefulness.
Body temperature cycles are also under control of the hypothalamus. An increase in body temperature is seen during the course of the day and a decrease is observed during the night. The temperature peaks and troughs are thought to mirror the sleep rhythm. People who are alert late in the evening (ie, evening types) have body temperature peaks late in the evening, while those who find themselves most alert early in the morning (ie, morning types) have body temperature peaks early in the evening.
Melatonin (a chemical produced by the pineal gland in the brain) has been implicated as a modulator of light entrainment. It is secreted maximally during the night. Prolactin, testosterone, and growth hormone also demonstrate circadian rhythms, with maximal secretion during the night.
Circadian rhythms can be affected to a certain degree by almost any kind of external stimulus
, for example, the beeping of the alarm clock or the timing of meals. When we cross time zones, our circadian rhythms get disrupted leading to jet lag. It usually takes several days for our body rhythms to adjust to the new time.
Symptoms similar to those seen in people with jet lag are common in people who work during nights or work in shifts. Because these people’s wake time conflicts with powerful sleep-regulating cues like sunlight, they often become uncontrollably drowsy during work or may have difficulty falling asleep during their off time. Their biological clock wants to do one thing, while they are doing something entirely different. People working in shifts have an increased risk of heart, gastrointestinal, emotional, and mental problems. All these problems may be related to the disruption of the circadian sleep rhythm.
Substances That Alter Sleep
Sleep and wakefulness are influenced by different neurotransmitters in the brain. Some substances can change the balance of these neurotransmitters and affect our sleep and wakefulness. Caffeinated drinks (for example, coffee) and medicines (for example, diet pills) stimulate some parts of the brain and can cause difficulty in falling asleep. Many drugs prescribed for the treatment of depression suppress REM sleep.
People who smoke heavily often sleep very lightly and have reduced duration of REM sleep. Heavy smokers tend to wake up after 3 or 4 hours of sleep due to nicotine withdrawal. Some people who have insomnia may use alcohol. Even though alcohol may help people to fall into light sleep, it deprives them of REM sleep and the deeper and more restorative stages of sleep. Instead, it keeps them in the lighter stages of sleep from which they can be awakened easily.
During REM sleep, we lose some of our ability to regulate our body temperature. Therefore, abnormally hot or cold temperatures can disrupt our REM sleep. If our REM sleep is disturbed, the normal sleep cycle progression is affected during the next sleeping time, and there is a possibility of slipping directly into REM sleep and going through long periods of REM sleep until the duration of REM sleep that is lost is caught up.
Sleep Deprivation
Because the function of sleep has not been fully determined, the exact number of hours that a person should sleep is unknown. Some persons claim to work optimally with only 3-5 hours of sleep per night, while some admit needing at least 8 hours of sleep per night (or more) to perform effectively. Therefore, sleep deprivation is best defined by group means and in terms of the tasks impaired.
In tasks requiring judgment, increasingly risky behaviors emerge as the total sleep duration is limited to 5 hours per night. The high cost of an action is seemingly ignored as the sleep-deprived person focuses on limited benefits. These findings can be explained by the fact that metabolism in the prefrontal and parietal associational areas of the brain decrease in individuals deprived of sleep for 24 hours. These areas of the brain are important for judgment, impulse control, attention, and visual association.
Sleep deprivation is a relative concept. Small amounts of sleep loss (for example, 1 hour per night over many nights) produce subtle cognitive impairment, which may go unrecognized. More severe restriction of sleep for a week leads to profound cognitive deficits, which may also go unrecognized by the individual. If you feel drowsy during the day, fall asleep for very short periods of time (5 minutes or so), or regularly fall asleep immediately after lying down, you are probably sleep-deprived.
Many studies have made it clear that sleep deprivation is dangerous. With decreased sleep, higher-order cognitive tasks are impaired early and disproportionately. On tasks used for testing coordination, sleep-deprived people perform as poorly as or worse than people who are intoxicated. Total sleep duration of 7 hours per night over 1 week has resulted in decreased speed in tasks of both simple reaction time and more demanding computer-generated mathematical problem solving. Total sleep duration of 5 hours per night over 1 week shows both a decrease in speed and the beginning of accuracy failure.
Total sleep duration of 7 hours per night over 1 week leads to impairment of cognitive work requiring simultaneous focus on several tasks. In driving simulations, for example, accidents increase progressively as total sleep duration is decreased to 7, 5, and 3 hours per night over 1 week. Driver fatigue is responsible for an estimated 100,000 motor vehicle crashes and 1500 deaths each year, according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
Since drowsiness occurs just before falling asleep, driving while drowsy often leads to disaster. According to the National Sleep Foundation “If you have trouble keeping your eyes focused, if you can’t stop yawning, or if you can’t remember driving the last few miles, you are probably too drowsy to drive safely.” It is important to know that caffeine and other stimulants cannot overcome the effects of severe sleep deprivation
. Therefore, if you find yourself driving in a sleep-deprived state, it is imperative that you find a safe place to stop and catch up on your sleep before continuing safely on your way.

SundayMorning woke up to be very lathargic but still no choice had to go for my timetrial at tao payoh. Jialong overslpt so lucky me, when i am done still have to wait for him. In the end we were so late that we missed our warm up. Overall i did timings out of my own expectation cosidering so many trainings skipped.50m butterfly - 32.72 (35.00)

Those in brackets are my personal best so i had broken all of them~! Wearing cap is cool even though is dropped out at 45m for my 200m event. Jerome Teo is owning people there at swimming but your attitude VERY BAD~! My target is to thrash him flat till he can't say anything! Its hard though but nevertheless his attitude is driving me to do that...
Had lunch at Long John Silver's even though we didn't very much wanted to but due to undecisiveness and laziness we ended up there. Ate for quite sometime and we just slack rest and talk. They are a bunch of innocent group of people :)
Almost 3pm when we are done and they left for home while i decided to stay there to do my work because of off-ice session at 6pm which i find it quite a waste of time to travel all the way back home and to ps again. So studied alone there for about an hour. Wanted to look for some friends initially but in the end think that it will be much better off if i had studied. Left around 4+ because getting quite bored so took my time and took detours to go to the dance studio which is near ps. Met condrey on the way and just nice go tgt.
Waited for RongXing to arrive before we started. Did stretching, balancing exercises. Stretching still ok but balancing i was having a hard time. Got my skates from condrey and it seems that i didn't show my happiness at all or rather i wont b feeling so so so happy. I dno y..mayb because it arent new? Because i dont really care that much about whether or not to have my own skateS? not sure but anyway i just got it XD
Didn't have dinner with them neither did i wan to go movie with them. Firstly because mum already had dinner for me, movie was a bit late and going with condrey they all seems weird. We don tok much. i've to be cautious with wad i say which i find it very tiring and once slacken off i will hear wad i do not like to hear from him.
Reached home had dinner, did some sacrificial and a bit tedious work. And now guess gonna study.
I wonder is it just me or is it realli thats him. Bias. Siding females. Too realistic. Too stubborn. or maybe i am just meeting another person who is almost like me and now i have to in a way face me myself. hmmm... shall see how.. sometimes it felt so empty yet sometimes is so full of warmth.

Morning went for IVP and my event is the very first one. Considered did well but still far from nationals lar.. too far.. My timing is onli 2.45 while the best is like 2.00? thats 200m freestyle. First lap was very good but right after the turning momemtum gone. That always happen..and at my last turn didn't manage to kick the wall at all.. nvm ...Next event i had is the medley relay...swam my best timing...29.28 for 50m freestyle...saw with my own eyes today someone who swam 24secs for 50m freestyle. Record is 21secs...still so far...prize presentation some errors... announcements before we leave for our lunch... too bad they are going to holland village which is too far for me due to me having lesson at 5pm therefore went causeway point with weipei, jialong, jasmine to have lunch at food court where we met two other guys. ate pretty full then take 187 home...reached home got my stuff and ready to go out...lie on bed onli den knock out.. late for life-saving...managed to get in time for water activity...afterwhich go mac with jasmine,richard,eugene and one other guy for dinner....out of the blue moon i am eating fish burger...we ordered 20 piece nuggets too...tml is timetrial and i still dno wad event i doing... hope i wont do too badly...shouldn't expect much too..haven been training properly...Screwed up day number 4..either one more or a few more and guess it might happen..hope it wont..its too stupid.. been too quiet... tough... weird... how long can my beliefs, trust, patience and will still last? how long can i lasT?don't wish to know anymore...

FridayWoke up late and was late for class but luckily didn't miss much. FFA classwork got full marks as long as we attempt so good :) Went for a little break before going for BCA revision lecture. Lecturer so much time. Left the lecture hall because the students were too noisy and in the end return back from the back of the lecture hall because he finds it unfair to not start lecture for those students who wants to study. Next is BMGT revision lecture which is very long. They literally just going through every slides very briefly. Finally just before released, we had a little help and that is the balanced sporecard will not be tested which is actually quite a small part. Oh well~ better then nothing.Went to Far East with xjj and huiling first as zk has something to attend to. So ya~ shop shop..xjj bought a shirt while the rest bought nothing. Dinner at Han's...waited super long for our meals...hmmmm...had ice-cream before we go home. First time go out with them on TGIF...correct hor? hahaz...reached home pretty late but nvm..manage to pull off with it.Wanted to sleep after i bathed but help sis with a bit of things and when i can actually sleep that time, i am actually totally awake. Lie on the bed for don't know how long before i actually fell asleep.I am going for my ivp on sat morning and here i am still reaching home and sleeping so late~! hahaz~! Wonder how i will do at my events when i didn't attend a single training for an entire week. The feel of the water might be gone :P

Tuesday
Woke up early in the morning today to go jogging with Olivia. Waited for a while before she arrives so we jogged for 10mins. Indeed it is abit too little for me but nevermind, next time may I should start earlier and only join her during my warm down. So went to school for our final BMGT tutorial I guess. ZK borrowed my laptop to do tutorial in the first place but in the end? Play neopets because realised no need to do... hahaz.. Had lunch at Bukit Timah Centre there. Hard time deciding what to eat and finally we settled on buy two different porridge from two different stalls. Thiong Bharu Porridge stall is better for the chicken porridge(Muz Remember~! hahaz..) Wanted to buy fruit juice but somehow in the end that uncle gave me lemon sugar cane juice.. oh well..As we walk back for our MAEC revision lecture, I was perspiring much more than I had jogged in the morning~! Weather is just so hot! Anyway was on time for lecture. Submitted the mail for early bird selection of timetable and tutors. After which we went underpass. Waited for my mother to come. Almost 30mins. So off to Lavendar to extent my passport validity while my sister change photo and grandfather collect some documents and grandmother buy some stuffs and mother bought towels. Haha. Surprisingly my passport is being extended till June 2007! Usually they only extend for 1 year~When we are finally done which is about 5+ pm, Dad wanted to have dinner at some high class or expensive places since we are already near town. But the problem is the restaurants he wanted to go are all not opened yet till 6pm. I suggested 'No Signboard' and of course it shouldn't be a problem BUT sister have private tution at home at 7pm so can only go places near home. Awwww...Hahaz... So they decided to go Bukit Timah to eat and my respond was like WHAT!!??!? I had just had my lunch there lo... Somehow in the end mum called the boss of the 煮炒 opposite our house to order and book a place at the coffee shop. Yeah, you didn't see wrongly, book a table at a normal coffee shop with pre-order! Curious so I asked further and discovered that she also have number for the chain stores which are located at my house market and somewhere near bukit batok east there blk 280+ de... and also they have delivery=.= No wonder I used to not see them go out but still there are takeaway food suddenly at home...Sister wasn't feelin well and she skipped dinner. I went MacDonald to study asking friends along to join until 11pm. Physics and Chemistry was what my friend was studying and its like oh my... so much lars.. he tried explaining to me about some electrons in the middle and is surrounded by 'this shape' and when you combine this with that the electrons will bla bla bla. Roughly I understood but didn't bother much.. hahaz.. Olivia was havin dinner at Mac and she was consulting me in BSTATS but I seems rather lost without my own handwritten work and somehow I still manage to made her understand some important points.. phew~ hope it helps ;)Went home at 11pm and while waiting for my laptop to load and sign into msn ... I think I totally knock out. Didn't remember what happened next.WednesdayI woke up in the morning to find myself sleepin in the living room sofa. Still unable to recall how could I have fallen asleep in the living room with my spectacles in my own room I went to on my laptop which was supposedly to be off. Realised about 5 people talked to me and I had missed to reply one important sms and conversation in msn~! Cost me my morning swimming training.Yes, I skipped my training again!Don't know why but recently just totally don't feel like doing anything. LMS lesson was quite fun.. As expected of the activities today we still went. So theres a group saying pledge from level 1 and we from level 5 supposed to be hear them loud and clear. They are sabo-ed to do it a second time and they did :) Next up is the group lining up in one straight row and like a train they will surround anyone that pass by them. Once again we watch it from level 5 of blk 56 as they commence their objective near the atrium. Of course they got sabo-ed to do it again and they did :) Then my group is shaking hands with passerby to ask them to watch us dance where we will then do a ballerina dance( hands up den turn lo..) And ya~ we won't be left out from being sabo-ed and we are sporting enough to do it again too:) Finally the last group...they only needa dance in class for us. Farnie dance they did and they too did it again :)Released after that and my group starts to chiong the last part of our project. Presented and I thought was quite bad but apparently we are the 2nd best group:) Thanks to the girls I must say. They had been doing most of the things actually. So thats all for IS modules~! No more lesson on Wednesdays~! And no more projects to worry until Year 2 starts~! hmmm...now to only worry about examination.Lesson ended at 4.30pm. Was deciding where to go. Home or ice-skating? Unable to make decision, I leave it to fate. Reached bus-stop and 61 wasn't here so went opposite to take 52. So I am going ice-skating but I forgot my complimentary ticket so was deciding whether to go home take first and once again I leave it to fate to decide. If the seat next to me is empty and if someone pressed the bell to alight at the stop where I can walk home I will get the complimentary ticket. And well it jolly well did happen. So~! Walked home to put laptop, bring book to study just in case when I am too tired to skate and grab some sweets. Reach the rink and found out that they are all leaving soon. Oh well...No wonder had such strong feelin to not go ice-skating before I reached. Anyway they only left at 7pm. And indeed Olivia wanted sweets .. hahaz.. All time favourite sour sweet is being well liked by both prince brother and princess sister XD And so they left to attend to their business. First time I am skating alone in the rink. Initially didn't really want to continue but in the end find that it will be better if I at least get use to the new ice first. Can't even do a proper spin or brake when I first go on the ice when I reached. As time pass, I slowly get the hang of it and left at 9pm for dinner. Met kevin, Qian hui i tink and some 2 other hockey skaters at Long John Silver's so I joined them.. They were crapping and laming away while I had my dinner. Seriously very lame things, things that you will say when you are in a group of people where you don't really have any common topics and you just have to talk non-stop.Somehow the girl looks similar to Peanut Mei in some ways but nevermind. Walked home alone and walking very very slowly. Took 30mins to reach home. Too much time for deep thinking recently. Too much. Home and called xjj for conference about tomorrow's destination for er....haircut? hahaz! Oh well~ Don't know what time I am gonna slp today again. So long for now~Don't have to feel bad about leaving me alone to skate Prince Bro~ I kinda expected that you all won't be stayin throughout and I needa get on ice. I was thinking, on ice is only once a week while my swimming is like up to 7times a week so decided to come :)And to Prince Bro and Princess Sis:If you are thinking of bringing Princess and me together..Don't bother to do so~ Both of us are actually walking on very different paths and the way we think are pretty different too. I see many differences in us both now...and like i told u guys~ me arent getting involved for a few years~

FridayAfter having FFA tutorial, headed off to KAP to meet Hui Ling and Jun. They were doing their projects while I am doing my own things. As I did not have my things to study with me, I typed 1415 words of essay. At first was meant for blogging but in the end it became some reflections then crazy self inner thoughts that got philosophical.Had lunch there before heading back to school to meet zk and xj where supposedly we do BMGT.
Went training at 6pm and at first it ended at 7pm. But because tml there isn't any events for steward and me, he suggested to coach for us to train. In the end, did 2 x 100m and 4 x 200m. Timing real bad.
Went to Huiling's house and didn't do much there. Eat, talk crap, slack and play poker. I was basically resting. Reached home before 11pm.
Saturday
Got a ride to RP from jasmine's dad so only woke at 7am. Pretty bored there, should have brought my work there to do. Finally able to slip away at about 1pm with weipei and jasmine to causeway point at long john silver's for lunch. Rushed for lesson which ended at 3.20pm.
Rest a while at home before going for life-saving at 5pm where changes have been made for the procedures for CPR. EAR and pulse check has been taken out. Commencing CPR as long as there is no breathing. So i guess the person gonna die of heart attack or smth if CPR is commence when pulse is present but oh well.. No more EAR and pulse check jiu no more lo..
Day ended...with not much things done.

Morning when I woke up I decided to not go for swimming, not go for friend's birthday party because I wanted to stay home to do my work. But, in the end mum got me out of house to buy clothing.
Was very reluctant to do so but since she say afternoon will be back so just go. Was seriously not in the mood to go out and find the shops very irritating. Don't know why but i just do. I havin contradicting feelings in me all the while. One being very angry and the other..
Oh well ... whole afternoon was hoping that someone would sms me but none did so i decided to sms someone. Searching through the list of numbers that i can remember i found no suitable candidate. Didn't want to bother those busy people so xjj save the day for me or actually a little but beta then none:) thanks..
Somehow my hope onli came tru at night...At first I didn't expect you to reply which explains the short replies i had when u actually replied with long advises...Night time, things change, things to rush...realli had quite a surprise upon receiving sms from someone whom i had nv tot would sms me first. but well... it was nice.. at least what she realised and told me was almost half of the reflection essay i wrote a few days ago...
Seems that as long as you keep thinking of something that you want it to happen it will happen eventually. It miraculously happened to me lotsa times. This entry supposedly 3times longer but in the end I tink its beta without havin it so long~ shall keep it to myself~

Bstats lecture...get to know that we are going to select our very own timetable slot and tutors for our second year. Met xj and hl only because zk goin for BMGT project. We took a random bus with random timing and we reached buona vista where we ate the coffee shop before we search for our slurpee at 7-11. Miss our bus when we rearched and we miss another double decker because we didn't flag it in time.
Did some work at library before rushing for my FFA lecture which they had crash into. Then we go to the library again to finish doing our project. Librarian check our bag and failed to spot the titbits we have brought. We stayed till 8+before leaving.
Taekwondo Coach totally didn't come today~! So i didn't even bother to change..I just sat there talking to them. Learnt something new from the uncle also. Reach home quite late and slpt quite late.
Day without hp is bad...

Hmmm.. What can I say. Today I woke up very early but cannot go anywhere today. Not supposed to. Don't want to. My initial plan to go swim in the morning, project right after it and swim at night followed by maybe meeting my darling seems to failed. I totally skipped my morning swim. Was super late for my project work and also very late for my evening swimming although when I reached they have not started :PFeel like eating everything I can think of during my project work but in the end only bought potato chips to munch.Conclusion after project work was:- time flies- difficult to do when you having mental blocks- unable to finish what is planned- Huiling's and Xiaojun's lappy are most like femalesFunny weird names were created for the the four of us...glow...wxyz...actv...sssd...and what other nonsense we had tought of... Went swimming and seems like none of the guys have reached... training was kinda crazy.. chionged with Daniel for 50m freestyle at around 30secs for 3 times~! And.. the second coach to tell me this: Your stroke is beautiful BUT you are lacking the strength. Argh... I've gotta do something about that~!IVP Games-Institute-Varsity-Polytechnic Games has changed timing to 9am which means have to meet at 7.30am at woodlands mrt station~! Have to make up my lesson in the afternoon... sians...No wonder you say we will fade... no wonder...

TuesdayBMGT tutorial today which i tink i onli started to pay attention in recent weeks. Isn't that difficult at all other than the need to know the terms they are using. Had lunch at canteen 2. School food so not nice and already getting so bored of them all ... nevertheless had chicken rice there before we go for our MAEC lecture... last lecture on Singapore Economy~Next slack off at underpass while zk, hl, xj study for their Wcom.. went home... had dinner... taught sis some maths... and online all the way till now~~~Recent tots.. PMS is not entitled to females onli, rather its for anyone that are always keeping alot of things to themselves be it to keep others from getting hurt or personal issues.Is it just me or wad but been seeing alot of ppl using the term prince and princess.. in the media, my sch mates use it for project, recent music release album is call 'prince' if i am not wrong...theme at recent time seems to be prince and princess...hahaz...You wear more clothing to feel hot! You wear lesser clothing to feel hot!

I woke up quite early today but was just lazy to get out of my bed. In the end was quite late for class. Bstats result still not bad, got 41/60. Met xj and zk to print our MYOB assignment. So many people doing last minute work and we ended up spending one hour just printing it. When we are done we help huiling who arrived later or rather zk help her while xj and me were doing some stupid stuffs with the computer in the lab. We were hungry and bored so we are literally playing around with the buttons on the computer.Finally when we are done we are only left with 1 hour for lunch before we go for our MAEC tutorial. 13.5 again for MAEC...This is pretty bad because its not that I do not know how to do but it is because my answers were vague. Here minus a little, there minue a little and i had a border pass... oh well~Wasted our time away at he canteen for 20mins before going to convention basement lvl 2 without zk as he is doing his project. Continued wasting time there and as there is no signal at the basement zk cannot find us even though he did pass by where we were situated.. wahaha...And so we went underpass AND continue to waste time.. I had my dinner while waiting for jasmine.. Finally she came and we went for our swimming training. Sprints Sprints Sprints for swimming today~ 50m at range of 33s-35s for 10laps and the rest of the 10laps some slack some chiong. Next is 25m sprints and my best is only 13.08s...pretty happy with result considering i have stopped training for so long but i still need to be faster by 2secs at least..Took great pains and laughters taking out the plunging boards.. even though there is only three we spent at least 30mins takin it out with around 8 guys. Funny actions and sounds while taking it out but it can't be helped... collect our package and the IVP Jacket is so warm~! doubt i will wear it often because I might just feel that its too hot~! Went home to find alot of food waiting for me. Although i have been on eating spree for the pass few days but the sudden mass of food displayed all at once in front of me made me feel very full...Now taking a break from erms.. my supper i guess.. kk.. shall continue finishing my food now~!

Had FFA tutorial then meet up with zk,hl,xj to go westmall mac study for MAEC test...met jialong there..MAEC test still ok..hmm.. after that all wanted to accompany zk to orchard but in the end didn't cos all going home to eat... so lucky 61 came early so board and home...

After lesson go home slack a bit.. den went buy KFC for lunch and fetch xj n hl from westmall to my hse to do MYOB.. slack ard and finish at 4+ i tink.. they watch movie while i go for my life-saving lesson.. Did a full thru for test by weixing.. so many things to change again.. left for home den eat a fast dinner.. wait for them to complete corpse of bride before we walk to IMM to walk walk and they have dinner while i have supper... den i ran home after sending them to MRT...k... not totally run lar..slpt quite early~

morning training at tao payoh..still not bad lars...at least feelin the endurance level gaining slowly back..did a short butterfly and felt nice~ After which went to Fork&Spoon for brunch.. food there is quite nice and the dessert is even better...went home as usual played cards on the train and i won every game today :)
Walked home in the rain.. slack again till time to go meet con and dan at night. Look at he renovating rink, played pool and today con is the unlucky one as he lose the games cos the white ball go in at the wrong time. Went to look for olivia at her shop and we had a 'meet the parent session'. Played with cats a while. Met vernon's family there. Had dinner before going home. Uncomfy feeling.. weird feeling.. decided to slp not doing anything much.. was crapping my way in msn.. hope no one gets frozen.

TuesdayNothing much onli attended BMGT tutorial and Maec Lecture today...Lunch at canteen 3...Maec did some video cos no one noes how to do den listen halfway do my own stuff already... did MYOB at underpass before going for test which is quite stupid den home... Slept right after dinner which was around 9pm...WednesdayWoke up at 12.50am and start doing read & share while the rest of the time watching anime, play game, blog hopping, e-mail, stretching exercise all the way till time to go to school which is like 1pm. presentation obviously my grp was not the best... didn't turn out the way i want it to be... something quite common but nevermind.. already done by them... then go IAC totally absorbed in my own work... and seriously don tink any one bother to properly prepare the presentations... everyone juz copy paste, rephrase and read off the slides... went for swimming and my shoulder aren't getting any better yet..50m in 31 secs ok ok... 100m in 1min 15 sec sux...200m in 2mins 56 secs sux... i need to swim more.. next sat is IVP and Sunday is timetrial..darn..stopped swimming for too long...can i get back my standard in 1 wk? haiz ...Thursday now in sch so early... no bstats lecture i tink so aone watch movie on laptop lors..hmmm..now waiting for them to release class den do BMGT project and have lunch i tink...more den 2 hrs break mahz.. mayb not going in-line skating later.. see how.. night still got tae-kwon-do..sianz.. hope coach teach us seriously today if not i guess i shall skip it if i can till march..Expected.. i reach coach left, leaving the highest ranking student to teach which is not even black belt.. decided to heck care and do our own stuff.. did skipping but due to rain, limited space and mood wasn't there.. onli manage to do about 1000 and 70 push-ups and sit-ups...We are on different frequency... i don't get wad u trying to say neither do u realli get wad i am up to.. mayb its juz me..but still..wads the point of gettin unhappy of such tings.. i tried to understand wad u say but it juz seem so difficult for me.. always getting the wrong message... feel like giving up but it will b very awkward.. i dno.. ~So close yet so Distant~

MondayDid project early in the morning but also didn't do anything much... can say i totally didnt touch anything in the project at all lors... den so many things not done and somemore frankly speaking presentation v badly done.. wad3va...den go for my bstats tutorial... received result and its onli 40/50.. sianz... shld have been full marks...so presentation super short and obviously we look super unprepared..blur queen...do almost everything de still don realli noe wad to present...zzz...did some script for my macro presentation wif huiling a while then slack and have lunch till around 2pm and go for macro tutorial.. hmmm... stupid.. onli got 13/20 i tink.. my T/F could have been all correct but when transfering ans caused 5 qns to be wrong =.= Played maths nightmare and supposedly easy but v hard to coordinate and also abit rusty le lars :P played games all the way till 5pm and go for macro peer tutoring.. our final one and will b $10 richer~ ! deposit to be taken back for the peer tutoring one mahx .. finally its over but its onli 6.30pm... watched some ppl having ice-cream competition...v dots lor.. eat ice-cream and drink water ??? i don see how water helps.. hahaz.. eventually one guy won eating one and the half full tubs of ice-cream...he walks away wif his $100 :)as its still early so i accompany huiling to wait for bus 61 lors.. upon reachin the bus came but she purposedly miss it cos she will b too early for meeting her parents.. the time was 6.50pm.. so we sat and chat and we waited...and waited..and waited... all bus came but not 61.. hahaz... 7.35pm.. i cant wait any longer so i took my leave heading towards the swimming pool...bus 61 is freaking hard to wait~! more than 30mins and theres still no 61~! paid my things and dad fetch me home...Rushed my work abit den i realised that my MYOB all wrong~! omg omg omg... read & share due in two days not done.. tml having bstats not revised... LMS project having some probs wif video..fri macro test... oh great.. and my com have to hang at 12.45am so i gave up and i fell aslp =.=

Supposedly having 2 projects from 2pm skipping lectures but eventually, both were cancelled =.= Nevertheless, still didnt go for lecture but went watch video at the library instead... unable to find nice shows, we watched the anime deathnote instead on my laptop at youtube. We took the 3 seaters seat and use the headphone from the TV to my laptop den pretending we watching the TV... hahaz..soon zhi kai came back from lecture and we went to xiaojun's house to do our maecro presentation preparation. All the way to aljunied so we took a taxi.. reached, had dinner at her house and started our work. Later decided to say over at her house to complete our work. I slpt quite early there because i didn't slp the previous day... Once again the four of us did a few crazy stuff during the night... e.g. blasting of music trying to destroy the keyboards etc...Saturday Luckily i managed to wake up in time to call up the rest because most of us hav something on at 9am... took bus 67 all the way to KAP supposedly but missd the stop cos all slping.. hahaz.. den i took 173, 106, 189 home.. hmm ... hahaz.. still reached home before 8.30am anyway.. went for guitar lesson den go back to my secondary school at the new site. The place wasnt as dilaphidated as expected.. in fact still quite nice...while waiting for fren at bus-stop suddenly one auntie commented on my hairstyle being v nice and asked where i cut it and for how much.. lols.. went to get my trophies before going home.. did some BCA den go life-savin lesson... a lesson where we are teaching the life-saving 1,2,3 people so quite slack lar... After which went mac wif jasmine, richard and gerald for dinner and a short chatting session before going home...slpt earlier den expected again...Sunday
woke up super early in the morning to go Tao Payoh for my swimming training finally after soo soo soo long... literally dying there lars.. all we did was sprintin and sprinting... so long nv swim now do sprinting will die arS~! den at one of the sprinting for butterfly, at my second pull, i feel my left shoulder twisted.. swim single handedly to the other end and can't swim fly for the time being already :( didnt feel any pain after auntie Elsie did some treatment...went for lunch at Long John Silver's... Grilled chicken wrap was quite ok~Then meet xiao jun at city hall at 12pm although supposedly 11.45am :P sry... wrong estimation.. hee... we played poker as usual on the mrt wif jialong, jerome and tis time wif xiao jun joinin in too lar... somehow jialong who is always the overall winner didnt win a single game today.. hahaz~! Met huiling at westmall mac supposedly we were going to do our MYOB but den cos she forgot bring her charger so in the end we had to go her house.. including her project grp... so theres, andrea, shushan, jun, zhi kai, xiao jun and me going to huiling's hse...had green bean soup cooked by her mum...zhikai a bit weird today..Soon all of them left and i went dinner wif xiao jun and huiling at the nearby coffee shop at the same time discussing about some things...Walked home to realise no one is at home ... no wonder nobody call me why i not home so late.. hahaz.. fell aslp again before i completed my work to be handed in by midnight~! luckily woke up at 11.30 and still can chiong to submit on time but still i skipped two exercise hoping i wont b penalised... after that i knocked out again... Something is wrong... i kept falling aslp as and when my body feels like it... It had never happened before... it normally doesn't gets knocked out unless its night time or super weak or the surrounding is just super comfortable and secured... i realised something too on the walk home after my dinner on sunday.. i feel the presence of someting if i am always tinking of it but once the feeling or tots is gone.. everything juz seems to disappear... my attire seems weird at times... i don feel str in my swimming i need to get it back.. tings i need to get it back tings i need to work towards to tings i need to change.. hope i can do them all.. hope i wont make any mistakes.. See the FOREST not the TrEe....

ThursdayBacky~ seems like the date i aren't following at all... nvm .. it doesn't matter..Weird today or wad i dno.. had a strong feelin to go mac to just eat hot fries alone.. eventually my classmates went wif me to KAP.. Didn't noe why i ask them to even though i wanted to spend my 2hrs alone in the 1st place..So in the end, xiao jun, zhi kai, huiling, ying wei, andrea and jie wei all went to KAP for lunch... Tots for my lunch was one McSpicy meal upsize drinks to large ice milo plus apple pie plus McFlurry and plus another burger mayb fillet or cheeseburger or smth.. hhaz.. scary yea but eventually onli the meal plus applepie... and i realli got my hot fries... next xiaojun bought her meals and when she abt to sit down she spilled her drinks all over the floor.. the grp of us sitting tgt were split... fated to be like tis? 4 of us somehow someway away from the others? mayb ... during this short break some people learn alot of new tings ... heehee...back to school for BCA and received my results.. 77.5/100...good or bad? dno... seems good...den went to photocopy tings for steph...unable to contact olivia and daniel is busy...tink u forgotten to find out the dates prince bro... hahaz... guess u are too busy... when i saw u after lesson i was like... woah did u like juz woke up or smth...rest well brother...health is always the utmost importance and that goes for everyone too XD After seein steph off at the bus-stop... went alone to atrium to wait for time to pass... somehow i slpt~! i slpt in public in the day somemore~! Something is going on.. and i actually slpt so long i was very late for my FFA lecture... i tot i was late but zhi kai u all ar... dno wad to say oso... play so long and onli to reach at like 4.30 or later? hahaz... still got time to buy ice-cream from cheers wors... not bad but anyway thanks for the ice-cream :) Managed to concentrate for the 1st half of the lecture but the remaining half i juz wandered off to watching death note anime wif huiling... haha ...went home and den to taekwondo... not many ppl came today... as in the those few 'impt' people.. instructor didnt even change to proper attire neither did he teach us... onli let the black belt do the job... no wonder all black belts run away after getting their belt..not even a single sparring today which is the onli ting we could barely look forward to for the lesson.. Henderick is not happy ...seriously and he is quiting as soon as we get our result.. yea.. quit all tgt see wad he do.... not sure at the moment wad we gonna do after we quit yet... mayb join another federation or some other martial arts...Returned home real early..rested a while.. taught sis some maths.. start doing my work now i hope and i tink i going to.. hahaz..

WednesdayWoke up super early today mornin like 5.30am although it was supposed to be earlier to do my work but still no mood for anywork.. waited and smsed till abt 7.30am before slowly getting ready to go for my swim. Even though i was late for training but seems like everyone was so still started training on time... Wei Pei the only person who is around my age is there for companion for training because today school has reopened for all primary, secondary and JC people... as both of us had taken a v long break from our swimming training we were quite tired from it at the end of it... started off warm up and we were very synchronised..hahaz...my 1st jump into the pool i juz swam underwater for at east 40m.. believe it or not.. hahaz...training started off with IM... 6oom butterfly in 12mins, 600m backstroke in 12mins, 600m breast-stroke in 12mins and freestyle in 11mins... butterfly is a killer, backstroke was straining, breast-stroke was recovering and freestlye? hahaz.. i completed in abt 10mins and 45secs...next up is 70m kicking in 2mins for each stroke, 70m swim in 1.20mins for each stroke wif handle paddles...training ended at our breast-stroke.. hahaz... phew... went bath den he went home wif me intending for lunch later but eventually not cos he going out wif parents and i already have lunch at home so he juz surfed the net for a while... Soon , time for LMS lesson.. boring.. might as well don go school... lesson ended den go play games till 5pm for macro lecture at 5pm to 6.45pm den go to the school swimming pool.. stupid me brought everything except my trunks den cannot train wif them.... sianz... so waited for their training to end before we discuss about who to join what for the ivp events, get our jackets, competitive swimwear and free water bottle... went home after that ... was well all along till the call came.. its ard 11.30pm .. not surprised to received the call but surprised to hear wad he says.. theres nothing i can comment on it.. theres nothing that i can say much... all i can say is that i don tink wad3va u say are true and what i am tinking to u is of utmost not impt at all... juz dno how to respond to wad3va u say.. too sudden.. too gan ga... too weird.. played and watched anime till i sleep and to onli reluctantly wake up the next morning...ThursdayGut feeling? Believed by almost everyone that females gut feeling most of the time is true.. mayb u're right but as far as i am concern its not gonna happen so soon ... fade we may cos it cant b avoided but it wont b too far... i am pretty sure unless u are hiding something.. unless everything is a lie.. unless wad i tink i shld noe is not known for too long a time.. may sound like a threat but i guess these are the few tings tt may cause the fade.. many u might say but i am sry thats really true and most likely will happen unless otherwise... For the 1st time i understood the entire lecture for BSTATS... hypothese i guess.. so easy... everything is so easy yet i juz didnt have enuf practice... sometimes i realli don like poly life at all... too carefree... it slackens ur mind... i dno.. guess each has its own benefits... theres always so i shall juz stick to wad3va the benefits is and use it as an advantage :) i hope i can do that..Self-discipline...Perseverence...time now 2pm... time seems so slow.. FFA lecture at 4pm.. boring.. PBL project not done and rushing on friday cos to b submitted by sunday, LMS oso on friday so skipping lectures... there goes ice-skating.. no more for at least a month i guess...only left wif swimmin to 'enjoy'... IVP coming, Time trial coming... shld i aim for it? shall see how bahz.. so long... nte den see wan to blog anot.. hahaz...
