Competitions and Events

Sunday

Morning went for Bukit Batok intra-con swimming meets and warm up session as usual collecting of rubber bands in exchange for towel. First time I did not breathe for 50m for sprinting freestyle during competition and eventually did my personal best with a timing of 28.3s! but the next relay event, my lactic acids starts accumulating and kinda slowed me down a little but still managed to get a silver for it :) Even though I did my personal best, I still got 5th... 1st and 2nd is like 26s, 3rd is 27s and 4th is like 28.1 s? Oh well.. Had quite a long rest because there is no event for backstroke and butterfly for ages 16yrs above...

Rachael - mummy, cassie - jie, jerome - di... ok.. superb random and definitely not fixed... hahaz... Rachael .. Rachael... oh well... then had breaststroke which I did not expect to win anything but still i got a bronze with a timing of 39 which is very slow! 1st and 2nd is like 36s lars! If WeiPei had come I would have gotten 4th.... Once again rushed for the next breaststroke relay where I am the first swimmer! No strgth to swim right after my own individual event la... anyway tried my best and eventually managed to get bronze too!

Most of the medals are being swept by SSA QS! hahaz... End of session and as usual they threw fruits and we went in to collect them. Had fun with the kids and talks... I am enjoyin it... bath and went home getting my skating stuffs before meeting jialong, jerome and benjamin at burger king for lunch... they left home quite early because they still have studies ... while I stayed at westmall to walk around a little since its almost time I meet Olivia and its been a long long long time since I walk in a shopping mall...

Olivia was late.. pretty much again. Ok... maybe its not again... but sometimes... somehow bad points are always much more easier to point out than the good points... So reached CCK and saw Daniel leaving already. Managed to call him but still he left first because he is going to be late. Henry and Olivia thus followed me all the way to Yew Tee... K.. did a very bad move at the long downslope... and henry fell umpteen times! sry! Quite hard to coordinate both when they are so farrr apart ...

reached and mark attendance and they left for the campsite as i waited for the rest. Justin waited with me and we left at 3.30 but just when we were about to reach... Daniel had to call and say there is one more person! Oh great... walk all the way back under the hot sun to just fetch one person! Edwin.. hahaz..

Reached the parade square and onto our skates... I had to lead for formation 4! Luckily Eileen they all helped me and soon I was able to go smoothly without pausing...formation keep changing cos its relatively too fast. But fun fun fun fun! dinner provided but its fried rice and we actually wasted it ...

Dinner, we skated all the way to LOT 1... on the way helping the novice skaters... Adeline=.= Most dangerous novice and noisy one... fell and knocked her head while crossing road.. ouch but luckily nth serious happened... n ya.. i had to be so nice to help her carry her bag.. hahaz... Reached the place and we took out our skates...heard ilena they all say the way I did things was as if i am adeline's bf or smth mainly because I am helping her do this and that... then when they ask me get their bag also then they realise that I am just really that nice... Okie.. not that I am being used by people lars... I just find that the matters are of small matters and accomplishing them arent that difficult nor hard and it makes them happy so like that lor ....

Shared buddy meal at KFC with Daniel. Olivia starts to feel sick so ate something more plain. And so we eat and talk and sang. Left for home with ilena, jasper, xan, benjamin, olivia on the same mrt. How3va only olivia alighting same stop as me since she stays so near my house. We skated back home and I sent her to her block since we are on skates and just to make sure she reach her blk safely.. after which i skated home in the most comfortable pace I have ever felt in all my roller blading months... I still can't do my ice-skating back edges well! I keep leaning on the wrong side and my transfer of weight keeps getting to the wrong side! no balance! Ok... i have been practicing my ice stuff on roller whenever possible today but still hard to get my balance right... haiz ...

Inline skating forum has really gone super lively! ice-skating forum kinda dead for now but still it is holding the record for the most number of post! Smsed Peanut and Alexi :)
