Just reached home at like 12.15am resulting in blogging so late ... hahaz... Think its gonna be quite a long entry~ quite alot of things happening~~Kk.. so I had woken very late today and was late for the meeting at Jurong East MRT Station. Supposed to meet 6.30am but I woke up at 6.25am? Rushed and mum drove me there luckily reaching at about 6.35am and the rest of them kinda just reached too.Its Commonwealth Secondary School Games day and I am going to help them by being an umpire for the frisbee games. So we boarded bus 66 where almost every other buses heading towards CCAB were flooded with commonwealthians. We were like so late and I was wondering how people NJC and ppl were late for their schools or work because of Commonwealthians flooding the bus right from the bus interchange...Anyway.. As usual, Timothy Reu Nonis and Alvin just cannot stop talking and arguing about everything and nothing. Jokers~ Reached there and we are each allocated to our on games.shuan, nicolas and me went for the frisbee at the hockey pitch. They did the whistling while i only did timing. Mr Lim did a demo for us for the 1st game~Wanted to do the whistling umpiring too but later they wanted to do it so i continued my job of timing ...Then they need more ppl at the other game and i went to help :) BUT, to realise that they say i am not fit to be umpire bla bla bla... standing to what I think is correct, i continued my way and I was indeed right but they who were wrong... they have been playing the games with the wrong rules all along! oh well~ the unhappy them complained so much so in the end, Mr Lim took over for the next game and same result but they didn't even dare to make any noise... HA! Told u i am umpiring correctly!So~ everything finally ended around 10.45am...went to lounge to eat something and slack around. Go field play card games waiting for the last soccer match to finish... finally they are done and one boy had to get injured while trying to move the goal post to the designated area. Weird though... about 10 boys carrying it and only one got injured .... I was the first to notice the injured boy though :) Rushed there tried to help him but i get no responses but soon the teachers came so he was left to them... Red cross~ where you all disappear to =.= Didn't see them attending to the boy till like at least 20mins later ... luckily the boy had physical abrasion with the goal post i guess...After we are done, gotten our souveniers from mr lim, and we headed to MR. PRATA opp to have some drinks... Thinking that it was near NUS, i brought them the wrong way and detour till we end up taking taxi to westmall=.= SRY! Walked home and I rested till 4pm before going to Singapore Sports school for my NAG~The swimming pool is indoor and everything there is so cool and perfect for sports! well.. its not a sports school for nothing yea? hahaz..but the water is freezing cold!!!!! swam lotsa warm up~ the longest warm up for swimming i guess... but my event is onli at like 7+ when i started warm up at 5.45? too early.. so i warmed up again at 1 event before mine...50m freestyle is what I took. Qualifying time is 29.15seconds. My personal best so far was 30.3 seconds but my target is to hit 28s. First whistle: walk next to the plunging board. Second whistle: Stand on plunging board.Take your mark: Get ready. Horn goes: Plunged and kicked as hard as possible and pull as hardas i can in the fastest way possible! 25m... my limit reaching but I did not give up~ i pushed myself to maintain faster~ 35m! final 15m! Final push!!! I struggled a bit but nevertheless just whacked! touched. 28.6seconds! ha~ at least i am first in my own heat XD Overall winner for my event was some guy named russell or smth... he did 23.56 or .96 forgot but its like woah! So fast lars! Oh ya~ i have slow reaction.. i onli plunged off at like 1.04s later ??? haiz.. needa increase reaction time lars ....JiaLong did 29.49. Brendan 28.59. Jerome Teo 25.55. everyone struggled for their 200m freestyle~Had maggie noodles after showering in the warm water~ So refreshing~Everything ended only at 10.30pm. Took bus to causeway point and had out dinner at BK before taking the last bus 187 home.Yupz... expected.. proposal was rejected...
